Cinco de Mayo. One of our mutual best friends from San Francisco (who had seemingly held out from introducing us for 10 years) happened to be in town, hosting an event. We were invited for margaritas and ended up making out at a dive bar, breaking a glass, and immediately booking an official first date.

Our first family date -- LA River Park, 'Jurassic Park' at Cinespia. One our favorite family activities that we've since enjoyed a few times. Also: Jeff Goldblum.

Instagram Official™ and our first trip together -- New York. We would leave this trip with a favorite hotel (The Public), an agreement that we always watch Bay Area sports games no matter where we are, amazing memories and covid 🫠.

Another hard launch -- this time for the brand Claude helped create. Luis would go to dinner + meet Claude's two best friends without her (Erin + Yvonne) and then enjoy somewhere north of 17 tequila shots at the event. Luis has yet to forgive Claude for his superior hangover from this night, even though she had Nurse Joel come to give them hydration recovery IVs.

An annual tradition thanks to Dom -- the one that introduced us. A Lake Tahoe summer moment that would also mark our first weekend living together as permanent roommates. And yes, your math is correct.

Aidan graduates from basic training in South Carolina. We make the trip together thanks to the miracle of a Costco card at LAX, the hospitality of another best friend (Ben + Mandy), and far too much Chik-Fil-A.

Our first Christmas as a party of 4 in Los Angeles. Home Alone with a live orchestra, Aidan's numerous tattoos, far too many times watching 'The Holiday' and 'Elf.' Luis will learn to love these movies, one day.

Our first big trip as a family (without Aidan 😔) -- Hong Kong. Visiting with Luis' parents, winning money at a racetrack, deciding that the funicular life is not for us, eating a high volume of dim sum and deciding to move to Asia at some point in our future.

THE GREATEST DAY OF CLAUDIA'S LIFE THAT DOES NOT INCLUDE GIVING BIRTH TO ANOTHER HUMAN. Our engagement. Perfect. In our little Los Angeles backyard, complete with Chai + Ozzy wrestling, the sun in our eyes, and absolute disbelief. She feels like the luckiest woman alive to have a man like Luis.

Another one because this our wedding website and because Claude says so.

Celebrating our engagement with families in Napa. Introducing our two families and closest friends to one another in Claude's dad's backyard on a very warm day. Memories filled with paella, gorgeous roses, tear-jerking speeches, and Luis' favorite golf at Silverado ranch.

Celebrating our friends at their wedding in Temecula. Realizing we are only one year away from celebrating our own, as we'd just confirmed the date of our wedding prior. Luis also enjoyed one of his favorite golf days here and has decided we might also need to live in Temecula one day.

The start of our year, celebrated at Alisal Ranch in Solvang (once again but hopefully never again, without Aidan). Claude learned to build a fire like a straight up pioneer, Luis has another favorite golf spot and Mila fell in love with reading once again. Also, 15/10 for our phone-free dinners which were simply perfect.

There was a VERY BIG GAME on this day. It would have been the best day of the year, but as it turns out, it wasn't. Thankfully, we have our wedding for that. Cheers!
